Sniffles to the rescue

Every year, we've got your back when it comes to winter colds and flu. Our Sniffles Eucalyptus Rub is so comforting and warming that it feels like a big minty hug.

We make it with pure essential oils of lemon eucalyptus, rosemary and myrtle. All are mild and in low concentrations. If your baby is under the age of 1, simply rub it on your own chest and hold baby close so they can breathe in the decongestant benefits of the essential oils, without absorbing any through the skin. Otherwise, rub it on the chest, back, neck and soles of the feet which absorb fast into the bloodstream to get the benefits of these plant oils working asap.

Teaching Our Kids About Nutrition

Education and setting a good example are key when it comes to teaching children about good eating habits.

Do you struggle with getting your child to eat their vegetables?

Try explaining the why's and how's of nutrition. Get out the play food and explain how proteins, carbs and fats provide certain parts of our body with nourishment to thrive and grow. They might better accept that eating whole foods is what will keep them growing big and strong.

First, educate yourself on the macronutrients we must consume at each meal and how digestion works. Once you learn about the essentials, you can better show your children how the process works.  You can involve your child in meal planning, grocery shopping and letting them prepare some of their lunches and snacks for school. Healthy habits start early!

This downloadable ebook offers info on basic nutrition needs, ways to get your children involved in making the right food choices, a 1 week sample meal plan for healthy school lunches and snacks to keep them alert all day, a printable food journal for your child to keep track of their eating, and info on how to build a balanced meal for your child.

Packing a lunchbox full of balanced snacks and sugar-free, unprocessed foods will better give them the lasting energy they need to keep their brains thinking and learning, their body growing, and their bones healthy.

Sweet Cheeks as Relaxing Massage Balm

Aromatherapy is the holistic practice of using naturally extracted aroma essences from plants to balance, harmonize, and promote the health of the body, mind and spirit.

Plants naturally create essential oils within themselves to attract pollinators, to serve as a defense against some insects and animals, and to protect themselves against bacteria and other threats.  These oils are then extracted and used as a form of holistic treatments and therapeutic uses for many ailments including congestion, wound healing, relaxation, clearing the mind, sedation, digestion, headaches and more.

Sweet Cheeks Body Balm for Baby Massage

Lavender, or Lavandula angustifolia, is one of the most useful essential oils and, unlike other essential oils, can be used directly on the skin without the need for dilution.  It is safe, non-toxic, antibacterial, antifungal, and commonly used for relaxation.  Many use a diffuser with Lavender essential oil to create a calming environment in the home, and even a few drops in a bath will help to relax muscles and the mind.

Dimpleskins' Sweet Cheeks Body Balm is a moisturizing balm packed with cocoabutter, apricot kernel oil, pure beeswax, coconut oil and the sweet blend of pure Vanilla oil and Lavender essential oil.  It is often applied on baby's chapped cheeks to moisturize or to protect the skin from the elements.  Also, with it's inclusion of Lavender essential oil, it also has benefits during infant massage to help moisturize, relax muscles, and soothe the mind. As we know as adults, massage is not only a relaxation tool, but also a way to bond.  Spending a few minutes at bedtime giving your little one a massage with Sweet Cheeks will leave you both feeling relaxed.
